E.P. Bradley Hospital COBRE Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

The Warren Alpert Medical School and E.P. Bradley Hospital are seeking an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. This position will be employed by E.P. Bradley Hospital and is associated with the hospital’s newly established COBRE Center for Sleep and Circadian Rhythms in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. The position is funded by the COBRE Center with support for 5 years and includes a continuing role as a COBRE Center Sleep and Circadian Methods Core Research Scientist. Minimum requirements include:  Candidate must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in Behavioral Sciences, Public Health, Social Sciences, Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field. The successful candidate must have significant and documented expertise and research experience in sleep and circadian rhythms methodology, along with evidence of experience with pediatric populations, particularly for mental health. Candidates must have a growing record of scholarship in the field. The ideal candidate will have a very strong promise of NIH-funded research, maintain a research focus on sleep and circadian rhythms in juveniles, agree to serve as a staff member on the COBRE Center, aspire to engage in research mentorship, contribute to a vibrant environment of scholars among E.P. Bradley Hospital’s faculty and trainees, and manifest a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Must qualify for appointment as Assistant Professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
